Tips on Effective Diets to Lose Belly Fat for Women

One mistake that most people make when losing belly fat is focusing too much on the stomach area itself. One thing that should be kept in mind is that the stomach is one of the toughest areas to train. Exercising the stomach area exclusively is terribly inefficient, and while you might achieve more mass and definition in your stomach muscles, because not much fat is burned, the layers of fat continue to remain to make it difficult to see how well you have progressed in your stomach workouts. Women have different dietary needs from men, and therefore require a diet and exercise program that is tailor-fitted to their needs. You can try a variety of different diets to lose belly fat for women. Coupling a good diet with an effective workout plan will get you losing weight in no time.

The typical diet these days incorporates a lot of processed foods and empty calories. It isn't necessarily just how much we eat that allows us to gain weight, but the kind of food we eat as well. Many fad diets make the mistake of forcing people to make drastic changes to the way they eat. Although results are achievable, these programs are hard to adhere to because of the sheer difficulty of the program. The metabolism diet is one particularly effective diet that turns the body into a very effective fat burner. Only small changes are made to the kind of food that one would be able to eat, making it easier to adhere to this diet. It has also been designed for real people who want real results. While it is possible to lose a significant amount of weight through high intensity workout and dieting plans, some people have found success by sustaining minimal weight loss over the duration of their diets.

Overall weight loss can benefit your efforts at training your stomach area because it makes results much more evident. Training your entire body lets you lose belly fat, allowing your toned stomach muscles to show through. Of course, losing overall weight is much more beneficial than just a set of six pack abs, and would certainly contribute to a healthier and more active lifestyle. It is important to become more active as you diet, as this will maximize the effects of weight loss. You don't even have to push your muscles to failure in an extreme workout. Light workouts will suffice, so long as you burn whatever calories you consume.

Natural and Easy Remedies for Healthier Teeth and Gums

It's true that every person should visit the dentist at least once every year; these visits are getting more expensive all the time. Cleaning your teeth, getting cavities filled are hardly cheap and if you need something more complicated like a root canal or crown you'd better be ready to pay a hefty sum. That's why you'll be a lot better off protecting your dental health as thoroughly as possible so that, when you do see your dentist every year, you don't need to max out all of your credit cards or drain the last pennies from your bank account.

Flossing is one of those practices that everyone knows is a good idea, but the majority of us don't do regularly. It is very time consuming and it can be really painful if your gums are sensitive or if you are suffering from dental problems. If you have a difficult time flossing consistently, you need to consider the idea of a water flosser. These tend to be more effective and faster than traditional flossing methods and they're really good for people who have crowns, braces, implants or bridges. It's also easy to afford them, particularly if you consider how much money you will save in your dental bills over the long haul. Even using the water flosser just for a minute each day can remove quite a lot of harmful plaque from your mouth.

Everyone knows that brushing your teeth at least twice per day is essential for basic dental health and oral hygiene. Most people, however, do not brush in the correct manner or for a long enough period of time. The best way to brush is to use a circular pattern and to make sure that you brush every area in your mouth. It's also important that you use a toothbrush that's clean, which means gaining a new one every month or so. If you haven't already started to use an electronic toothbrush, think seriously about making the switch because it is a lot more efficient for brushing your teeth. It's not essential, but a good electronic toothbrush can get the job done faster and more thoroughly. It doesn't matter what kind of toothbrush you use, do not brush too vigorously because this could scratch your teeth.

Drinking more water is one of the most common tips given to us for improving our health. This is really good advice for people who need help losing wight, who want to have better emotional health, who want to raise the rate of their metabolisms and it is also really great for improving the health of your teeth and your gums. Proper hydration is how you keep your body and immune system strong so that it can get rid of the bacteria that is responsible for all sorts of problems including oral health problems. Sparkling water isn't the best idea because it is just like soda and can cause the same problems for your teeth. You won't achieve the perfect oral health by just drinking water, but it is one step that is really great for your mouth and the rest of your body too.

It isn't hard at all to take really great care of your teeth and gums--as long as you are dedicated and put forth regular effort you'll be fine. In addition to doing flossing and brushing every day, you should also watch what you eat and avoid those things that could harm your oral health. These tips can help you improve your dental health and that means that the rest of your body will be healthier too.

For more healthy teeth and gums, you should to use all services like teeth whitening Sydney or any specific teeth difficulties. Just remember to always save your teeth. The proper way to shield your teeth is always to have regular dental care check up and brush your teeth 3 times a day.

5 Best Yoga Poses That Will Help Women

It is obvious that most women love yoga because it makes them more flexible and sexier. It also helps them manage their weight, relieve stress and increase fertility. If you are yet to start a yoga routine, now would be the time. However, before you hit the yoga academy, you have to be aware of some of the moves that are most beneficial to women. You can even practice them at home or at a yoga retreat before making it a daily routine. Some of the top poses good for women are:

Child's pose - This is the most basic and common yoga pose in the world. It is highly effective in stretching your quads, back and hips. To get to this position, kneel down with your big toes touching keeping the knees a few inches apart. Seat on the knees, put the torso between your thighs and bring the forehead to the mat. Extend the arms forward with the palms on the floor and stay there for a minute.

Warrior II - While standing, take a step forward of about one meter. Turn the left foot about 30 degrees and the right foot's toes pointing the front of the mat. Raise both arms parallel to the floor about shoulder height. Face the palms down and bend the right knee such that your right shin and the right knee form a right angle. This pose will tone your core, legs and arms.

Downward-facing dog - This pose will stretch your spine, glutes, hamstrings and calves. It will strengthen your triceps and deltoids. Begin on all fours with the knees and feet hip-width apart. Place the hands shoulder width apart as you spread your fingers. Straighten the legs as you lift the knees of the floor. Walk your feet back a few inches and your hands in front a few inches.

Boat pose - This pose strengthens your quadriceps and core. Sit with the knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Slightly lean back to balance on your sit bones then engage your core and begin to straighten the legs.

Plank pose - This pose will strengthen your back, core, arms, shoulders and quadriceps. Start while lying flat on the floor with your stomach feet together, bring your arms back to the sides of your chest. Engage the core and slowly lift off from the ground such that you are in a push-up position. Continue to go up until the arms are completely stretched of the ground.

Toxic Makeup: Should I Really Be Worried?

Don't make the mistake of assuming that just because a beauty product is available for sale in Australia that it does not contain an unhealthy cocktail of cancer causing chemicals. Did you know that there are many chemicals that have been classified as "safe" for use in cosmetics in Australia that have been banned (or restricted for use) in the European Union, Canada and Japan. Did you also know that there is currently no regulating body in Australia that assesses the safety of chemicals in makeup? You may be asking, "if these chemicals are so toxic, then why are they used?" The answer is simple, they are used because they are much cheaper to manufacture than natural ingredients.

A list of the main chemicals that are found in beauty products that should be avoided at all costs:

Bismuth-Oxychloride: (a by-product from refined Lead & Copper). Used as a cheap filler it can cause skin irritation, dermatitis, rosacea and eczema.

Parabens: Parabens (including ethyl, methyl, butyl,) are used as a preservative in cosmetics. Parabens have been found (in low concentrations) in breast cancer tumors and have displayed the ability to mimic estrogen (a hormone known to play a role in the development of breast cancer).

Phthalates: Phthalates are industrial compounds widely used in hairsprays, perfumes, nail polish and cosmetics and may cause a variety of problems, including reproductive and developmental harm (especially in baby boys), organ damage, immune suppression, endocrine disruption, and cancer.

Phenoxyethanol: Used as a preservative it is absorbed via the skin and toxic to the kidneys, liver and nervous system. It is Restricted for use in Japan.

Propylene Glycol: Usually labeled as PEG or PPG on labels, this ingredient is a synthetic petrochemical and is the active component in antifreeze. Propylene Glycol has been known to cause allergic reactions and brain, liver and kidney abnormalities. Because of its ability to quickly penetrate the skin, persons handling this substance are legally required to wear protective gloves, clothing and goggles when working with this toxic substance. No warning labels are required on cosmetic products where the concentration of PEG / PPG is higher than that in most industrial applications (such as in deodorant sticks).

Sodium Hydroxide: Also known as Caustic Soda, it is a possible Carcinogen that can be poisonous if swallowed. Prolonged contact with dilute solutions has a destructive effect upon tissue.

Talc: Used in cosmetics as a lubricant and as a cheap filler. Talc can become dangerously contaminated with cancer causing toxins during the manufacturing process and there has been (debated) links to the use of Talc and the incidents of ovarian cancer.

Carmine: Carmine is used for its bright red colour. It is often prepared by boiling dried insects (Cochineal) in water to extract the carminic acid and treated to create a red pigment. If you buy a lipstick containing carmine, then you are (in essence) eating boiled bugs. Therefore, products containing this ingredient are not certified vegetarian or vegan because it contains animal byproducts.

Be sure to check the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for more information on the chemicals in your natural cosmetics and mineral makeup.

Healthy Slow Cooker Stew With Herbs and Fall Vegetables

Slow Cookers are the best investment for simmering stews and soups on a cool, autumn day. A little planning ahead will free up hours during the day for other projects.

Squash and zucchini are still plentiful and great stew starters. Add some of your favorite vegetables and lots of spices and herbs and prepare to feast.

Caution: remember to cut your vegetables in small pieces for the slow cooker. This stew is a good staple for those who are limiting their use of potatoes and pastas; full of nutrition and good taste and hearty enough for any appetite.

Mediterranean Stew

2 cups of sliced zucchini

1 can chick-peas, drain and rinse

1 medium acorn or butternut squash, cubed

1 pkg. frozen okra pieces

2 cups eggplant, unpeeled and cubed

1 cup chopped onion

1 large carrot, sliced thin

1 large tomato, chopped

Combine the following and mix with above ingredients in slow cooker.

½ cup raisins

1 minced clove garlic

¼ teaspoon each: red pepper, ground cinnamon, paprika

½ teaspoon each: tumeric, cumin

8 ounces tomato sauce

½ cup water or low sodium broth

Cover and cook 8 to 10 hours in slow cooker on low. Vegetables should be tender but not too soft. This stew is very tasty; good by itself with crackers or cornbread. It is especially great when spooned over steaming rice or couscous.

In trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle, it is important to limit your intake of sodium and fats. Soups and stews, when properly prepared, will do just that without compromising taste. Become aware of natural juices from fruits and vegetables to use in cooking instead of tossing them. A slow cooker adds moisture which helps cut down on the need to add fats. This way of cooking also enhances the natural flavor of foods as it slowly cooks them.

Economically, it is good to find uses for foods in season. For years I snubbed some squashes and other foods. Now I realize how nutritious many of them are and how tasty when prepared properly. It has become a joke around our house to see what Mom has "dragged in to feed us."

I hope you join me in experimenting with new foods and combinations that work for your family and those in your care.

Three Effective Techniques for Pregnancy Relaxation

As an expectant mother, you need to set aside time for yourself. Pregnancy relaxation techniques can help to center you and can be used to better your life, long after your bring your new baby home. There are various methods you can employ but all of them may not work for you. Try a number of them to find the ones that are of the most benefit to you.

Practice pregnancy relaxation for at least 10 minutes a day, preferably twice a day, if you can fit it in. It may take you a few weeks to get into a routine, but once you do you will be glad you did. It will make the nine months that you carry your infant easier to deal with because the stress will not overwhelm you. Once you become proficient at these strategies, you will be able to do them anywhere.

Deep breathing is a pregnancy relaxation technique that you may have been doing long before you found out that you were expecting. It is simple to do and will melt anxiety and stress away. Breathe in slowly for a count of eight and then, through half closed lips, exhale to a count of eight. Make sure to keep your breathing light and that your breaths remain high and soft in your throat. Repeat a few times. Pregnancy relaxation can also involve relaxing muscle groups to release tension. You can use this technique both at home and when you are sitting at your desk at work. In this case, you release tension in various areas of the body in a sequential form. Pick a specific muscle in your body, tense it up and then release until the point where you feel in control of that particular muscle. Repeat this sequence with other muscles throughout your body. If you encounter a resistant muscle, place it into a position where it must relax. This technique will help you when you go into labor. You will be able to voluntarily relax your body, while your uterus is contracting involuntarily.

Once you have relaxed the muscles in your body it is time to give your mind the same solace. Meditation will accomplish this for you. Sit in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Get comfortable, body and mind. Let all of your muscles release any pent up tension they are holding onto. Breathe as regularly as possible through your nostrils. Create a personal mantra for yourself and repeat it over and over again in your head. It could be one word, a few words, or a sentence. Chant it in such a way that it falls into rhythm with your breathing patterns. Refuse to let any negative thoughts into your consciousness. If they do sneak in, refocus them and send them away.

Once your mind has found its way into a deep meditative state, your blood pressure and heart rate will both drop. This will improve your sense of calm and well-being.

Add Years to Your Life With These Anti-Aging Foods

When we talk about anti-aging foods, just how can foods actually help us to age slower? Certainly any food that will prevent diseases that are related to old age, such as diabetes, heart disease and osteoporosis, to name just a few, will help with slowing down aging. And through research, both recent and in the distant past we have found how certain foods can help us along these lines. Here are seven that we can put into the super-foods anti-aging category.

1. Blueberries. The compounds in blueberries prevent oxidative damage that is related to loss in memory and motor skills. These are issues most common with people as they age. Other berries have these properties as well, but blueberries have been found to have the most benefits in tests. This brings us to another berry high in antioxidants, grapes, which produce wine.

2. Wine. Especially red wine, and when consumed in moderation may activate genes that slow cellular aging, according to animal studies. The compound in red wine that might actually do this is called resveratrol, and has been the subject of many studies over the last few years. Drinking any alcohol in moderation seems to protect aging people against diabetes, heart disease and memory loss.

3. Chocolate. Cocoa, which chocolate is derived from, is especially rich in flavanols that help keep blood vessels functioning well. Strong blood vessels maintain a good flow of blood to the cells, which will decrease the risk of dementia, kidney and type 2 diabetes, as well as keep blood pressure in check. Once again, moderation and the ingredients that are added in to that healthy chocolate have to be monitored.

4. Nuts. They provide similar benefits as olive oil as a source of unsaturated fats. I happen to love nuts as my favorite snack food, and I also find they help increase my intake of water, which is never bad. They are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, and will be especially beneficial for those on vegetarian diets.

5. Olive oil. The important anti-aging agents in olive oil are polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants. This is an important part of the Mediterranean diet, which many dieticians believe is responsible for the longevity and low rates of heart disease and cancer in places like the Greek Island of Crete.

6. Fish. Another staple in the Mediterranean diet is fish, and depending on the fish you eat may be very high in omega-3 fats. One of the problems people have as they age is the buildup of cholesterol in the arteries, and omega-3s is a known preventative of this issue. Researchers have noticed that the Inuit, natives of Alaska and people who have a diet very high in fish are remarkably free of diseases of the heart.

7. Yogurt. We don't really know if or why yogurt causes people to live longer, but it has long been thought that there is a connection. It is rich in calcium, which deters osteoporosis. But perhaps most importantly is probiotics, or good bacteria that helps keep digestion health in order.

We can see that all of these anti-aging foods are also foods that are good to eat, and can easily be worked into any diet. With a little creativity these foods can be brought to the table in many delicious ways.

Makeup Artist Secrets

When it comes to makeup application, we could all use some extra insight, right? The highlights below should help in your daily application, and provide some quick tips you may not have ever known:

A clean, fresh face is the best base for make-up. Cleanse and tone skin, then apply moisturizer and allow it ten minutes to sink in before starting on your make up.

To find your perfect shade of foundation, test shades on the inside of your wrist, where skin tone is least affected by sun exposure, and always check the color in natural day light. For a foolproof application of your base, apply with clean fingertips across the center part of your face and then use a damp sponge to gently blend the foundation out, taking care to include your hairline and neck.

Loose powder is a make-up artist must: use it to set your foundation, layer between coats of lipstick to help the color last, and press gently over eyelids to create a smooth, even toned base for eye shadow. Also, keep in mind that loose organic face powder applies to the skin very well too.

The best blusher is one that matches the shade your cheeks go when you flush naturally. To apply, smile to find your cheekbones and then use a large fluffy brush to sweep the powder out in circular motions over the apples. Remember, less is more: just a touch of blush is enough to give your complexion a healthy, fresh-from-holiday glow.

Try this trick for a professional application of eyeliner: rest your elbow on a flat surface and then draw the line in three short parts, joining them up when done. For a natural look, choose a shade matching your eye color, for a dramatic effect, choose a contrasting shade.

Don't be afraid to use your fingers! Brushes are best for powder-based make-up products such as blush and eye-shadow, but clean finger tips are a great blending tool for creamy products like concealer and foundation.

Tidy, groomed eyebrows can lift your whole face. Have them professionally shaped in a salon and then maintain at home with a good pair of tweezers. But avoid over plucking, fuller brows give your face more shape.

Keep your kit clean and organized. Sharpen pencils after use, so that they are ready for next time. Wash brushes once a week in a mild shampoo and air dry overnight. Wipe your mascara wand with a tissue before use to avoid clumps and ensure a neat application. Invest in a see-through make-up bag with multiple pockets so you can see all your cosmetics at a glance and remove the need for rummaging.

Have fun!

The tips above are a great place to start if you’re looking to shake up your makeup routine. Many times we can get stuck in a rut, and a little change can do wonders! If you’re looking to change things up a bit from the standard, organic cosmetics also provide great coverage and come in a range of healthy, natural colors.

Keep Your Attacker From Getting Too Close With a Mace Pepper Spray Gun

One of the most common statements I hear when discussing self defense products is "I don't want them (the attacker) to get that close to me."

The truth is that victims are not really the ones who make the choice. Assailants will use the element of surprise, the cover of darkness and isolated areas to make their move, hoping we won't have time to react.

However, if you follow the most important safety tip, which is to be aware of your surroundings, you are less likely to be caught off guard. You then have the opportunity to be able to keep your attacker at a distance. One of the best self defense products to do this with is the new Mace Pepper Spray Gun Distance Defense model.

Mace is a household name and has long been the leader in defense sprays. The Mace Pepper Gun is the most accurate non-lethal self-defense pepper spray available. It is ideal for distance defense and has the convenience and accuracy of a point-and-shoot handgun design. It has an advanced delivery system which allows you to spray attackers with a power stream of OC pepper spray from up to 20 feet away and from any angle. Its size makes it easy to keep in a purse or in a holster.

What makes this Mace Pepper Gun different from former models is the new strobe LED feature. Pulling the trigger once will activate the steady LED flashlight mode. This enables you to see your target. Pull the trigger a second time and a pulsating LED strobe light is engaged.

Have you ever been to a nightclub when the strobe light is lit? Then you know how disorienting it can be. Your potential attacker will have a much harder time focusing on you as his target with this blinding pulsating light shining in his face.

If that doesn't keep the thug from coming at you, then you can spray him with the Mace maximum strength formula. This defense spray also has an identifying UV dye that can help police identify your attacker.

The Pepper Guns are easy to reload with pre-filled OC cartridges. You even get a water cartridge so you can practice using it. In my opinion, this product is an excellent non lethal alternative to carrying a firearm. Pepper spray is a time tested, proven method of self defense. The effects set in within a few seconds and can last from 10 to 4 minutes, giving you plenty of time to get to safety.

For more details and pictures, visit the Mace Pepper Gun site.

Stay safe!

Flatulence Remedy: Common Foods Which Help Reduce Flatulence

Which common foods are beneficial for reducing flatulence and bloating?

The wrong diet is the chief reason why most people suffer from excessive flatulence and stomach bloating. Consequently, it is imperative that we appreciate which foods we should avoid completely and which foods we should try our best to incorporate in our diet. Also, we must be aware of the different effects, different cooking methods have on our flatulence problem.

Below are some of the main foods which are not gas producing and which can reduce flatulence and bloating.

Fruit

As far as flatulence is concerned fruit can be divided into 2 categories:- those which are high in soluble fiber and those which are high in non-soluble fiber. Those which are high in soluble fiber are preferable because they are easier to digest and do not generate much gas.

Fruits from the citrus family such as oranges and lemons are best avoided as they are high in non-soluble fiber and are therefore flatulent. It is also worth noting that fruits such as prunes, bananas and apricots can be highly flatulent unless you are used to eating them. Because they are so high in fiber, if you are not accustomed to eating them or do not drink adequate amounts of water along with them, you run the risk of adding to your gas problems. This does not mean that you should avoid them entirely as they are a good source of many beneficial vitamins and minerals.

It is the rapid increase in eating these fruits that is the problem. If you permit your body to adapt by introducing them slowly to your diet then the problem can be avoided.

A very interesting group of fruits is kiwis, papayas, and pineapples. This group is particularly rich in enzymes which aid better digestion. Pineapples, for example, are rich in bromelin which breaks down protein and which eradicates parasites and micro-organisms which are harmful to our guts. The removal of these parasites and micro-organisms helps purify the digestive system. It also helps the removal of bacteria which cause putrefaction in the intestines. This has the result of prevention and/or the reduction of pain and diarrhea.

Papayas are rich in something called papain. Papain performs similar functions to trypsin which occurs in pancreatic juices and pepsin which occurs in the gastric juices. Like these enzymes, papain helps the break down of proteins.

Another significant group is known as proteolytics and this includes pineapples (bromeline),kiwis(actidin) and figs(ficin) Once again these enzymes help the processing of poteins and improved digestion which leads to the reduction of gastritis and excess gas.

Yogurt

As mentioned earlier, putrefaction is one of the main causes of flatulence and bloating. Eating yogurt helps increase good bacteria in the intestines which neutralizes bacteria which are responsible for putrefaction. Regular consumption of yogurt will reduce your flatulence. If you are unable or unwilling to eat yogurt, you can take acidophilus in the form of a tablet. This will also ease flatulence and cut down on the smell.

Herbal teas.

Herbs in the form of teas can be very beneficial because they help reduce excess gas, sooth intestinal inflammation and stop the production of excess flatulence. Gas produced by fruits and vegetables can be reduced by the introduction to the diet of teas made from fennel, sage, rosemary, peppermint and coriander It is also of great benefit when eating flatulent foods to include these herbs in your meal in their leaf form. Taking a herbal tea after each meal is thought to be of huge benefit to those suffering from excessive flatulence and bloating.

In this piece, I have included only a small cross section of those foods which are of benefit to flatulence and bloating sufferers.

Fertility Issues For Couples Trying To Get Pregnant Around The World

No matter where you live in the world, couples wanting children face a dilemma. From the United Kingdom to Japan, Europe to Malaysia or Turkey couples must juggle financial, career and personal goals when considering trying for a baby. This can be clearly seen in the statistics with the average age of first time mother’s in the UK up from 21.4 years in the 1970’s to 29.4 years in 2010, in Japan the average age for mother is now 29.7 years old and in Switzerland 29.4 years. Nearly half of all babies born in the UK (47%) in 2008 had mothers aged 30 or over.

These trends seem to be a reflection of the economic forces on modern family life supported by the modern concept of "family planning", or in other words using birth control to delay starting a family in order to achieve career and financial goals. The problem with this concept and what many couples who have left starting a family until later are increasingly aware of, is that this concept ignores or leaves out that there is a gradual decline in fertility, and in particular women’s fertility with age, especially after 35. The decline in fertility has been compounded more recently by a decline in overall health for example obesity and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) combining with other modern lifestyle factors to negatively affect the fertility of both sexes.

As a result many couples may take longer to conceive, or have to face problems of sub-fertility. While there are exceptions, as a general rule for couples in their 20’s there is 25% chance of conceiving in each cycle while at 35 there is 15% chance of conception with the conception rate dropping with each year closer to age 40. On average it can take 7 months to conceive, and this can be a stressful and isolating for many couples. More pregnant women in this age group will consider undergoing fertility treatment that can be costly and invasive. Couples who have not conceived after 6 months are advised to consult their GP for a referral to a Gynecologist.

For Lisa and Mark, 36 and 33, a working professional couple in Western Sydney Australia the decision to start a family was the catalyst to improve their health and lifestyle in preparation for conception of their first child.
Because we had set aside a limited time to have a family and considering our age we did a lot of research about what we could do to prepare ourselves mentally and physically to conceive as quickly and naturally as possible…."Mark stopped smoking, we improved our diet, took supplements such as folic acid, exercised three times a week and started using Conceive Plus fertility lubricant", says Lisa.

Research suggests many women are not well informed about their fertility or how to notice the signs of peak fertility such as elevated body temperature and changes in cervical fluid. Cervical fluid is vital in the transportation of sperm to the egg and lack of fluid can be a barrier to conception, while dryness can often be a symptom of intercourse on demand. "We thought it was best to have intercourse everyday…we found that I had a lack of cervical fluid or dryness, we also discovered in the course of our research that most lubricants can damage, inhibit and even kill sperm".

Now expecting their first child Lisa and Mark were asked what they would recommend to other couples in similar circumstances. "We are really pleased with everything we did to get pregnant naturally and feel very blessed, we didn’t stress out to much and certainly we are now healthier as a result."

Conceive Plus fertility lubricant helps to provide an optimal environment for conception and facilitates sperm motility to increase the chances of fertilization for couples trying to get pregnant. Conceive Plus can assist you on your path to pregnancy by supplementing natural cervical fluid, supporting sperm health and preventing vaginal dryness.

Other Lifestyle changes that are generally accepted to improve overall health your chances of conception include;

Stopping or reducing alcohol intake
Getting quality sleep
Reducing stress
Undertaking Moderate exercise
A healthy diet
Aiming for healthy weight (BMI)
